LOMBOK ART THERAPY FOR KIDS

in 2018 we were doing rehabilitation program for Lombok’s earthquake victims, especially children who are physically and psychologically affected. On this occasion, I took the role of field commander. I am tasked with designing a whole series of activities primarily when the team is in the field. The design that I made covers various sectors, from technical expedition such as supplies and medical to matters related to program implementation. This program mainly focuses on being in the realm of mental recovery for children after the earthquake. All is done within 2 weeks of the program trip in Batu Rakit, NTB. KBBI is assisted by local NGOs with social interests called 'Pemuda Peduli' and 'The Red Pencil', an organization that deals with those who face very difficult living conditions such as long-term hospitalization, trauma, disability, natural disasters, or conflict. Civil society by expressing trauma through the creative process of art.
